Cappuccino, "Beauts 'n Bikes"
Character design sketch of Victoria Capella and her bike "Cappuccino". Capella is a member of Motorcade, a gang of motorbike rebels living under the government's oppressive "motor law." They ride motorcycles around and cause trouble for the regime. It's cool.
Sketches of her counterparts and the eventual finished illustrations will be posted on http://www.poormansbread.com

Oh look, a Lady Gaga post!
I think that the woman we know as "Lady Gaga" is actually a pretty complex and interesting figure. It seems like her sexuality and glam rock image have eclipsed her personhood. She's a natural brunette, passionate about civil rights, and has studied music at a conservatory. Even though the medium she has chosen isn't the most natural for many people, she is still an artist true to her own ideologies. So I chose to portray her au natural in the hope of reminding people that beneath that thick exterior of makeup, hair dye, costuming, and special effects, there is a talented, beautiful person who has more in common with the rest of humanity than appears at first glance.

Theme #1- The Sound of Music
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sound_of_Music
Take some inspiration from a classic musical/movie. Try to picture yourself in the beautiful Austrian Alps, running from Nazis. Feel the beauty of music in the face of adversity.
Or you can make a Lady Gaga joke, like me!
